Informing Digital Health Strategy in BC
This engagement has now concluded. Thank you to all who shared your input. See our What we Heard report for a summary of key themes that emerged from this engagement with you.
This engagement has now concluded. Thank you to all who shared your input. With our increasing reliance on digital health technologies comes an even greater need for fluid connections across platforms, between health care providers and partners, and with patients. As we work to evolve Doctors of BC’s Digital Health Strategy and collaborate with partners on provincial plans, we need your input on enhancing these connections. Your feedback (and ongoing feedback through future engagement) will help to inform where we focus our work and advocacy efforts with health care partners on your behalf in the coming years. |
Feedback from doctors gathered in pre-pandemic years helped to inform:
- Current understanding of challenges related to electronic medical records (EMRs), electronic health records (EHRs), and other digital health technologies across the province
- Ministry of Health priorities related to enhancing functionality, information-sharing, and effective use of digital health technologies
We asked you to share your input to help us understand how existing priorities for optimizing use of digital health technologies align with your needs in a post-pandemic environment.
