Substance Use Care in BC

In 2023, Doctors of BC's Council on Health Promotion (COHP) was working to develop a policy paper to complement and modernize our existing position on substance use care and the toxic drug crisis.

To ensure we were on-track in our understanding of core challenges in the current substance use care system, we sought physician input via a survey in April 2023,  


Members' input helped inform our final policy, which will enable Doctors of BC to advocate more effectively for needed change in this vital area of care.
