Member input in Phase 1 of outreach on this issue helped Doctors of BC’s Council on Health Economics and Policy (CHEP) create a draft policy statement outlining our position on gender equity in medicine.

In September 2022, before the statement was finalized, CHEP sought further physician input on the commitments and recommendations in the draft statement to ensure these reflected member perspectives.
